What this service handles
An oversized item is not a bigger suitcase; it is a different vehicle. Four golf bags and four passengers is an SUV that will not close, and the moment the chauffeur discovers that is the moment the movement is already late.
VaultPac counts oversized items on the movement itself, separately from the ordinary bag count, so vehicle assignment reads them. Where the count is high enough, the items move on a dedicated cargo vehicle instead of on the passenger vehicle.
Oversized items are priced individually rather than folded into a flat bag rate, because the space they take is the cost. For some items and some routes that price is set by the desk rather than quoted instantly — the booking flow will say so rather than guess.

Questions
What counts as oversized?
Anything that will not sit in a standard boot alongside ordinary suitcases: golf and ski bags, trade-show and production cases, strollers and car seats, instruments, large sports equipment. If you are unsure, list it at booking — an unlisted item is the one that causes the problem.
Why is the price not always shown immediately?
Because for some items and some routes it genuinely depends. Rather than showing a number that would be wrong, the flow asks for a quote and the desk prices it.
