The signature movement

Land at eleven, make the one o'clock meeting

VaultPac takes the bags at the airport. You go straight to the meeting, the restaurant or the event, and the luggage is at the hotel when you get there.

We collect at baggage claim.

What this service handles

The hours between landing and check-in are the ones every business traveller loses. A room is not ready until three. A meeting is at one. The only options are dragging a suitcase into it or making a round trip to the hotel first, and both cost the afternoon.

Hands-free arrival removes the choice. A greeter meets the flight, the bags are tagged and scanned into custody at the airport, and the passenger walks out with nothing. The luggage travels as its own movement — held securely if the delivery window is later — and arrives at the hotel or address at a time that was decided in advance rather than on arrival.

This is the movement VaultPac was built around. Everything else on this site is a variation of it: the bags and the person do not have to be in the same vehicle, and the moment you stop assuming they do, a lot of ordinary travel problems disappear.

How VaultPac coordinates it

Every booking is a trip. A trip carries trip services, and each service breaks into the individual movements that actually have to happen — which is why the people and the bags do not have to travel the same way.

  1. Trip
  2. Trip services
  3. Individual movements
  • Luggage movement

Bags booked as their own movement, with their own route, their own timing and their own proof.

  • Meet & greet

A greeter recorded on the movement itself, so dispatch knows the handoff is staffed and not assumed.

  • QR custody scan

Every bag carries a tag. Each change of hands is scanned, so custody is a record rather than a recollection.

  • Proof of pickup

Time, place and who released the item, captured at collection.

  • Secure storage between movements

Items can be held under custody between a pickup and a delivery, and released on a schedule rather than on arrival.

  • Proof of delivery

Time, place and who received the item, captured at delivery.

  • Trip → Trip Services → Movements

One trip holds every service on it, and each service breaks into the individual movements that have to happen. A single booking can carry people and bags on different vehicles and different clocks without becoming two bookings.

  • Dispatch monitoring

Every movement on one board while it runs, so a late arrival is seen rather than reported.

What runs this movement

Assignment reads the passenger count and the bag count, so the vehicle that arrives fits both. Larger movements run several.

Why VaultPac for this

  • The passenger's day starts at the terminal door instead of at check-in.
  • Chain of custody is a scanned record, not a promise — every change of hands is logged.
  • Delivery is timed to the room, not to the flight, so bags do not arrive before there is somewhere to put them.
  • Pairs with a passenger movement on the same trip when a car is wanted as well.

Questions

How do I know where my bags are?

Each bag carries a tag that is scanned at every change of hands, so the custody record shows when it was collected, where it was held and who received it. Proof is captured at pickup and at delivery.

What if my hotel will not take the bags before check-in?

Then we hold them. Secure storage between the pickup and the delivery is part of the movement, and the delivery window is whatever time the room is ready.

Can I do this on the way out as well?

Yes — that is the hotel-to-airport version. Bags are collected from the hotel after check-out, held if there is a gap, and delivered to the airport for your flight.

Does someone need to be there to receive the bags?

Usually the hotel's bell desk receives them and the proof of delivery records who signed. For a residence or an office, we agree the recipient in advance.
